Obituary

Carmela Moscato Ventura, 92, of 343 Poplar Street New Haven died Saturday June 25 in Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of the late Constantine M. Ventura. Mrs. Ventura was born in Italy July 22, 1912 a daughter of the late Angelo and Maria Carmen Moscato. She is the mother of Dominic A. (Vivian M.) Ventura and Gregory M. Ventura both of New Haven. Sister of Sylvia Apuzzo, Josephine Bradley, Rose Hardy, Dominic and John Moscato and the late Sue DeLillo and Michael Moscato. Gradmother of Dominic A. Jr., Lisa C. and Sandra M. Ventura and great grandmother of Alex Vincent Arpino and the late Adam Stephen Jarmie.
Her funeral will leave the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Pl. Wednesday morning at 8:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis Church at 9. Burial in East Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4-8pm.
