Bill Iovanne, Jr. learned well from his grandmother and his father and devoted his life to funeral service and his community. Born in New Haven he graduated from St. Michael's Grammar School in 1973 and Notre Dame High School in 1977. After attending Bryant College, he went on to graduate with honors from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in 1980. Bill has served his profession as a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association and past President of the Greater New Haven Funeral Directors Association. Like his father, Bill has made community service a priority in his life. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of Notre Dame High School and St. Francis Home for Children as well as President of the New Haven Public School Foundation and Chairman of the Board of the Friends of Jimmy Miller, Inc. He also served as Chairman of the Easter Seals Goodwill Industries Celebrate Campaign. Bill has received numerous awards for his community service over the years. He is a member of Porcini International, the Santa Maria Maddalena Society, St. Andrew the Apostle Society and a devoted parishioner of St. Mary Church in Branford and St. Michael Church in New Haven. He is the proud of father of Christina and Alec and the proud grandfather of Eric and Isabella.

E. William Iovanne President Emeritus

Bill Iovanne Sr. was born in New Haven in 1933. He graduated from St. Michael's Grammar School in 1947 and Notre Dame High School in 1951. He went on to study mortuary science at McAllister School of Embalming in New York after the sudden death of his father, E. William Iovanne, Sr., the founder of Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc.. Bill has served his profession for over 40 years with dignity and respect. He is a member and past President of the Greater New Haven Funeral Directors Association, a member of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. He has donated his time at Sacred Heart Academy as a member of the Board of Trustees and as the varsity softball coach from 1975-1986. The field at the high school was named in his honor in 1993. He is devoted to community service through membership in Scungilli International, the Alpha Club and the Santa Maria Maddalena Society to name a few. Throughout his professional career he has been recognized by countless organizations for his commitment to the community. His passion is playing golf and he is a member of Racebrook Country Club.

Angie Iovanne was born in New Haven and graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1988 and American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in 1993. She is a third generation female in funeral service following in the footsteps of her grandmother Tess Lupinski and her mother Lucille Lupinski. Angie's expertise and compassion in arranging funerals has quickly made her one of the more notable directors in the New Haven area. Angie has been married to Bill Iovanne since 2000 and has two stepchildren, Christina and Alec. She is the proud grandmother of Eric and Isabella.

Clifford W. Lynch, CCSP Embalmer/Funeral Director cliff@iovanne.com

Cliff Lynch was born in New Haven and is a long-time resident of Woodbridge. He graduated from Amity High School in 1998, Quinnipiac University in 2002 and Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, GA in 2004. He has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the State of Connecticut since 2005. He earned the designation of Certified Cremation Service Provider(CCSP) from the National Funeral Directors Association in 2019.  Cliff is a member of the Knights of St. Patrick and New Haven Elks Lodge 25. He is an active member to the Greater New Haven St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee and was honored to serve as the 2017 Grand Marshal of the Parade. Cliff is a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Trinity Council # 5467. Cliff, his wife Shannon and their two children reside in Woodbridge. He serves the Town of Woodbridge as a member of the Economic Development Commission and Sperry Park Committee.

Lisa DeCicco joined the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. as Office Manager in 2008. She is the helpful voice you hear when you call the office. She handles the day to day business in the office. Lisa has a passion for veterans causes.  She works closely with the American Legion Post 89 as a volunteer and on Wreaths Across America, most recently being named Co-Location Coordinator for East Lawn/Green Lawn Cemeteries in East Haven for 2023.  Lisa is a founding member of the recently re-established American Legion Auxiliary Unit 89 in East Haven.  One of her greatest joys was being a dance mom for 11 years!  She is a life-long resident of East Haven where she lives with her husband Tom, their daughter Cassie, a recent high school graduate, Class of 2023 and their dog, Jack B.
